Happy Vday

I have read about this fact since I was young and I have since fully agreed with it. However, this may vary across Scorpios. The fact that I am referring to, is that Scorpios are very selective about those they considered as friends and those that Scorpios considered to be true friends, they will go all out for and make extra effort for that person. For me, I do have a lot of acquaintances and a lot of friends that I can hang out with. However, how many of this do I regard to be true friends? There are some that I regard as ‘potential to be true friends’ due to their character traits but they have yet to be as we have not gotten close enough yet. At this point in time, upon reflection I realized that some of my closest friends are Scorpios and my sister which has always been a fixture in my life is Virgo. This is ironic because in the past when I was in secondary school and JC, the bulk of my good friends are Leos and Sagittarius. These friends are wonderful friends to have when you are having a good time with them. Perhaps the shift was because when I grow older, HTHT and more in-depth conversation are appreciated. Because this is nearing friendship day, I wish to express my thanks to my good friends (though some of them may not have my blog add because low-profile is what I want now).

These are friends whom will give me a call to chat with me when they read something sad on my blog (BA). There are friends whom will call me on my phone when I dropped them a SMS to tell them that something cropped up at home and I am unable to attend gatherings (Fran & Van). There are friends whom will try their best to cheer me up on SMS and to tell me that they are around when on a spurt of emotional impulse, I sent them a SMS (BA & LY). Even when I was in Norway, there will be friends whom will spend time online to talk to me so that I will not feel so ‘na men’ at night (my Taiwan friend). There are friends whom will reply me promptly on emails and FB messages when I am feeling upset (YM- my Korean friend; Fran). There are friends whom will sing songs outside the LT and scribble notes on my paper to cheer me up (HT & Bren). There are friends whom will bring me to cool places that they know of to chill out, not because they want to show off but because they want me to know the place and for me to relax. There are friends whom will want to come and support me for events (HJ came for my Chinatown event and ZX a.k.a gan jian). There are friends that went to 21^st birthday parties to have fun but the first thing they asked when they saw me was whether I was ok about Jojo (Geno & Karmen whom was the birthday girl). There are friends whom upon knowing that I broke something precious to me, bought me the same item to console me (BA). There are other instances of friendship as well.

These are some moments of friendship and while not everyone is close to me, I do appreciate these gestures. Happy Advanced Friendship Day! J
